Kauai Car Crash Kills Two

Hawaii News Now reports that a 23-year-old Kauai woman has died in a two car crash on the Kaumualii Highway in Kekaha. The woman was a passenger in a vehicle travelling eastbound driven by a 25-year-old man. A sedan traveling westbound turned left in front of the Honda, and as the Honda swerved out of the way, he lost control of his vehicle, crossed the centerline and crashed into a Ford Ranger travelling west. Speed is considered to be a factor in the crash.

There are numerous types of car accidents, including head-on crashes, sideswipes, t-bones and single car crashes. In each instance, a variety of factors should be considered when determining the causes of the incident and the damages due to an injured party and his or her family.

Factors to be considered include driver error, roadway conditions, and the existence of any defective automobile parts.
