Aviation accidents can happen for a variety of reasons – including, but not limited to, pilot error, a dangerous or defective part, mechanical errors or weather. While aviation accidents are not frequent, when they do happen, they often result in serious, and often deadly consequences. In this instance, the aviation crash was the second deadly plane accident in less than a week.
