Whenever a car accident occurs, it is important to conduct an investigation into all of the circumstances surrounding the incident. For example, it is important to review not only the actions of each driver, but also to look at the surrounding circumstances, i.e. what were the weather conditions at the time? Was the roadway properly maintained? Did proper signage exist concerning any potential roadway hazards. It is also important to examine the cars involved in an incident - were they subject to any recalls and were any parts - such as breaks or tires - defective?
Each accident is unique and a product of numerous circumstances including potential driver error or negligence, defective products, and roadway negligence.
